Martin’s Day Within the Scope of Croatian-Hungarian Cooperation

On Saturday, 13th November, 2021, an event called Martin`s Day will be held in Lenti in the Cultural Centre of the town. The event will start at 15:00 with a presentation of the products of Hungarian and Croatian local service providers, local manufacturers and artisans. Following that, the Hungarian and Croatian cultural groups and folk music ensembles will have their performance in the hall of the theatre.

Those interested will enjoy the Bojtár Folk Music Ensemble, the Croatian Ethno Garden Ensemble, the Kerka Dance Group and the Trilla Chamber Choir. For children, the organisers prepare handcraft workshop. There will be an opportunity to taste new wine patterns and at the end of the program, visitors will be offered a taste of goose delicacies.

The program is part of the Interreg VA Hungary-Croatia Cooperation Program 2014-2020 “Joint development of new, innovative joined structures and shared processes to ensure continuity of co-operation in the field of Culture and Tourism in cross-regions” (the continuation of cooperation in tourism in the border region through newly developed innovative structures and processes) (Cross-Cultural Tool-Kit, code: HUHR / 1901 / 3.1.2 / 0159).
